As AI is tested for use in every societal sector, we peer into the near future through an interview with the chief researcher of an EU medical regulatory body to learn how they dealt with issues arising from the implementation of AI into healthcare.
The installation AIxxNOSOGRAPHIES is a reinterpretation of documents created during artistic research into AI applications in healthcare, featuring maps on the potential use of synthetic data in medical training (audio map) and AI assistance in the genetic screening of newborns for rare metabolic diseases (visual map). The multibody perspectives are field notes from amateur ethnographers collected during performative ethnographies that took place at Erasmus Medical Center, University Hospital Bonn and University Medical Center Groningen.
