The exhibition elucidated the realisation of the CD-ROM by USA, a group project of architect Peter Paulusse, visual artist Mark Dijkstra, philosopher Han van Dijk and interaction designer Wouter Theuws. The CD-rom contains a kind of strip book featuring black-and-white drawings, sketches and animations of buildings, ambiances, figures and ways in which a city can be experienced. By cutting, pasting, dragging and mixing the digital images, the user can create an infinite number of new strips. The CD-ROM is primarily intended for a young target group, teaching them in an instructive and humourous way how to experience and construct a city.
